Bourne

The Cape Cod Canal runs right through Bourne, splitting it into two parts creating 1,700 acres of protected land along its shores and the Canal Bikeway on both sides. There are ten villages, many of which still feel like olde Cape Cod. The sinuous coastline creates a number of quiet harbors and inlets for boating and fishing. It is home to the Coast Guard Station, MASS Maritime Academy, and the National Marine Life Center.
